Stumble and Shake origins

The Stumble and Shake was originally a solo-project started by Samuel Powell, playing and producing songs from home. After meeting at music college, Hannah Maes and Amar Singh became part of the project. The EP “Bedroom Basics” -fitting with the name- recorded in a tiny bedroom, was released.

They were joined by George Pantelatos on bass and George Ovenden on lead guitar. The band worked on new material and rehearsed for gigs across London, playing at venues like Camden Assembly and Notting Hill Arts Club. They went into the studio to record the first single with full band and released “In the Morning” on 7/7/17.

The band is joined by guitarist Alejandro Jerez, and is currently working on recording and producing two singles, the first one to be released this Spring.
Catch them at The Spice of Life on 23rd of February!
